I picked up quickly the host language and by the time i had finished my course, my Spanish was so good that I suprised many spanish friends back home in London. Communicating in Spaish is easy for me as my native language (Italian) is a latin-derived one.

At home I didnt study spanish, just had a quick course before coming to Spain. In Madrid I cought on quite quickly as I made friends. I love learning languages abroad, because it stays forever with you along with the experience.

To learn the spanish language is not so difficult for an italian native speaker. Anyway, there are some difficulties and you need to work hard if you want to refine the spanish language!

I can't say it was easy in the beginning but after a while you can hear a diference and you start feeling better while speaking this foreign language.

I choose Spain for the language and after one year I could spook Spanish. Because I went to Spain with only a little bit of Spanish.

The level of spoken english is pretty low in Spain, so you might feel a bit uncomfortable if you arrive without speaking spanish.
