There are some dormatories but in general it is better to choose your own flat or share it with some other students. The best is to look in segunda mano - news paper but even better is to check the webpage ot this newspaper!

Be open minded and get into the mind of your hosts. Things won't be the same as where you come from so remember - you are the outsider.
Also, when it gets a little difficult remember that you will be back in your comfort zone soon .. so enjoy the discomfort!

i didn't know spanish at all and it was pretty difficult for me to communicate there because at spain nobody speaks english..finally i learnt the basics and the things were much better!!
