Academic
Course recommendations
Well, the courses were hard, considering that I didn't have any experience in certain programming languages, my actual degree (AI) did not exist in the uni, so choosing courses were particulary hard.

The faculty (La informatica) was cold, and didn't offer much social activities for the students. The place wasn't very appealing to me.

first of all I recognize that italian and spanish are really similar so it was really easy to get a good level of knowledge. than in an erasmus experience wasn't so easy to know spanish people and I spent more of my time in Madrid with other erasmus student more from Finland and France. I choose to don't stay with italian student.

Get in touch with a lot of local people. The best way to do it is start talking to people in bars and go out once. It is not so easy to make friends at university but you can try of course. If you really want to learn the language do not stay only with other exchange students and share an appartement with spanish people!!

“Best place in Madrid to study Business Administration in my student times”
Sergio d
Spain, Graduate
Business Studies, 1997
Overall
Five year studies (Spanish old university plan) which included 4 core years and 1 year of specialization.
Myself, I studied Organization of enterprises as speciality.
Professors had, in general, a very good reputation: cathedratics, associated professors and the less interim professors.
Many of them had published books, newspaper articles, etc.. and were collaborators with companies.
Very enriching experience the fact of having abroad students in the Erasmus program (knowledge exchange and experiences, etc..)

Pros
Very high standard of professors / interesting and motivating lectures / good collaborative and participative atmosphere created by students and professors
Cons
Five years was a too long time for college studies / very high ratio of students vs classroom
