Personal comments
the university is outside of Barcelona, at first i though that was a fault, but now Ive learn to love it...for it means that at least three times a week(I got 3 days to class) I go out of the city and in tho something a little bit green :o)...I like the environment of the campus, its a small village in itself with rather big areas of grass and in my faculty the profesors are open and friendly.

Overall

it is very important to have a place to stay before you get there; it is very easy to get around the city; watch out for agencies that promise you flats that don't exist.

It is better to study at the UB than the UAB. The UB is right in the centre of Barcelona. The UAB is 30 min. by train
