Choose home near the Ferrocaril because Autonoma is at Bellaterra, a bit far from Barcelona (30 minutes).

Go living in the center of the city (Raval, Barrio Gotico or Gracia) and go to: Fallas de Valencia (March); Semana Santa in Sevilla (better than Feria d'Abril); OVERALL SAN FERMIN (PAMPLONA 6-14 JULY) THE MOST INCREDIBLE I'VE SEEN IN MY LIFE

Ispent more in travelling because I visited many small towns and places nearby Barcelona and less in telephone because I was never at home

Cafe Royal (Placa Reial) Salsitas La Magarena The whole area of Gracia (lots of little cafe´s and restaurants, no tourists, good if you want to get to know some Spanish people)

I can only advise everybody to study abroad wherever that is. Its a great experience that teaches you a lot and that you will never forget.

Final comments
I believe that Barcelona is an amazing city. It has so much culture and it really is the 'city that never sleeps' Some nights you can go out and go wild, and other nights you can just sit by the beach and relax. It is a great opportunity to experience something different in a large cosmopolitan city.
