If you want to travel a lot, there are cheap and frequent connections by bus to every major city. Ireland's quite small so you can get everywhere within a few hours.

Pravda - lounge at Ha'penny bridge (leather sofas...)
Morrisons - a little bit further to the east, north side of Ha'penny bridge ... very relaxing, stylish interior (black and white leather couches)

TCD only offers a couple of rooms on campus, but it's located in the city centre and, at least compared to private arrangements, qstill quite cheap
