Costs are real. Saving is an illusion in Denmark. One has to realise that he/she is spending an exchange period which means focusing less on saving but on spending and hanging around more than one does at home.

Tjhe living standards in Denmark in general are higher than in other parts of Western Europe. I was lucky to have found an accomodation cheaper than in Rotterdam.
