Dinosaur's Barbeque has good food. Feagan's looks better. Students often go to the velvet Underground disco. I liked the Awfull Al's bar better. The problem with Syracuse and especially with the SU campus is that there are not many night spots or cafes.

Final comments
MAke sure that you are aware of the positives and the less so when you are choosing the university. With Maxwell school in Syracuse you will get the best education and you will probably like the atmosphere in the school. Do not expect a terribly interesting city and be ready for a challenging winter time.

DO not rush in signing leases with the first housing offers. There are nice and quite inexpensive appartments located at reasonable distances from campus.
