Look at the departments first! The Graduate School is very good but you have to work with professors from your department and some of the departments are not very interested in graduate students' progress.

it's not legal for exchange students to buy a car. i had one but it was not easy to get it.

take courses in entrepreneurship, the program is excellent.
go out as much as you can and meet people. it's so easy to talk to new people.
