The people are really friendly in trying to explain something to you. The other international students are from all around the world, so with different dialects. The Irish people speak english and some speak irish too. You can understand it, but in the beginning it ir really difficult to understand the dialect. After a while it is much better

not allowing students e-mail in library was ridiculous (probably fixed?). i liked the sense of humour found in the classrooms, however i thought lecturers could have promoted more integration/team exercises between locals and S.A. Program participants

Personal spending habits
You spend more because you go out more, do stuff, and that costs a lot of money. The food and drinks are really expensive, the nightlife just depence on where you are going. Traveling is less expensive; a blackcap can bring you trough the city for 0.80p

School gives you the household items ( pan, cubs, spoons, plates etcetera..) for free. The cash machine is 100 metre from the campus and in your room all teh furniture is there. You dont have to pay extra for heath nor water. A cheap shop is the Lidl. And the money you pay to travell to your teachers practice, you can get back in the bursers office in St. Mary's.In the campus there's a phone, were you can buy card for to call, but on the first floor there is a phone were people can call you.

Communication was obviously not much of a barrier--the perceptive will be able to pick up subtleties in weeks. Drunk businessmen are a bit tougher to follow. No need to brush up on Cockney.

Pizza, Pool Halls and Strip Clubs are outrageous....all the more reason to refrain. although trains are costly, i don't recommend trying to scam it. cost saving tip=try to bear the school's cafeteria lunches. and drink cheap beer because the English will have you throwing them back like water.
