Well there are many ways in which you could travel easily. Trains are cheaper than the bus. Also There is an international youth hostel card to avail the hostel facility. It wud help to have an international student card to save some more money.
But overall it is nice experience to live with.

SSSUP, Pisa is one of the finest in italy for specialising in fields like real time OS, Telecommunications. It is situated in the culturally rich region of toscana. Weather is very pleasent most of the times and last but not the least, one will always savour the taste of varied cuisine found here.

Your stay in italy is not a problem rather your food or your expense but remember you are out of your home for the contract period.

“overrated university. very disappointing experience”

The courses were so boring and irrelevant. there is a lot of theory and nothing interesting that can be applied in real life. organisation and support for international students are very slow.(I'm waiting already for 4 months to be enrolled in the health system). University talks about innovations, but registration for exams, grades acceptance are made manually.
