I wish I had known...
No. It was a great experience and even though there were bad moments and cultural differences, there was nothing really bad or shocking that I wish I knew before going.

Be street smart when you are in Spain and don't count that the police will bother with small complaints (such as that your landlord rented the apartment to someone else and gave all you stuff to charity while you were gone for the summer even though you were still paying for the apartment).

Schiller will scam you. Run
Student
Spain, Undergraduate
, 2024
Overall
It is simply a waste of time and money. Over 50k wasted in nonesense. The staff will try their best to scam you. They are also very creepy in the sense that, they ask very invsive questions that should not interest them as a school. They lie. Do not ever assume the price you will pay is already known. They will invent new excuses to get you to pay over 1000 each time. Adittionally, I personally recall at least 6 different ocassions were one of the has been acused of r@cism by different students.

The programs they offer are not better than your typical university. So it is best to save your money.

Just homlogate your studies and go elsewhere. You will have a better time

It is also important to note that most universities here will not recognize the schiller degree. So, if the only useful is the other one, it is best to not go to schiller at all.

Every comment you see on reddit is true.

Schiller has exploited, abused, lied, and manipulated. RUN THE OTHER WAY. Do not fall for the nice or professional appearance.

If you do not become their acolite, they will gang up on you and scam you.

Only 1/10 people are serious

Run!!

It is the most amazing place, I have evered studied in. The teacher- student relationship is oriented toward problem- solving, they should continue this way, because all have only to profit from it.

Work hard at your studies, but do take advantage of the culture and travels. The best experience is the international atmosphere at the University and within Madrid.

Do some research before hand at home, in respect to living conditions. Plan your travels ahead of time in order to pick up better deals and for them to work around your studies.

Stay far away from Schiller if you value your time, money, and future (you may not get hired with a degree from this For-profit university).

IF you want to earn a simple American degree go for it. But a warning, the administration is the worst out there. MOst private schools are business so money is paramount regardless of what the flyers say. You have to actively seek what you want to learn. Overall, I would rate this university on a scale of 1-10--- a 5.
