At the beginning I could not understand pretty well Northern Irish accent. Then I got used to it and I learned some local expresions to boot.

I spent more because the pound was double the dollar. Prices of things were not so different, it was more because of the exchange rate.

I just didn't realize I would spend so much so easily. Cost of living was expensive because of exchange rate. I opened a bank account there so it helped with bank fees.
