Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
The sense of freedom in an apartment shared or not with more people is bigger than with a family. And you can have a sense of being at home in an apartment that you have not in a campus.

Personal comments
I have been in two apartments. In the second one I had and individual room. I really liked the mix between social live because of living with other students and the posibility of also being calm at your own room.

Personal recommendation
You have to be very strong and flexible because you will have to change country every six months for four years and most of the times also your schoolmates. And be very good in mathematics if you want to pass all the exams of the Politecnico of Turin.

Why?
I think that living in my own house, as I did, was the best solution. In fact, even if I decided to join an University in England I am Italian and so in Italy I lived at home. While in the Uk I stayed on the University campus for the first year and I rent a house the following years.

Overall
Polytechnic of Turin helps graduate students finding interesting job and internship opportunities which mainly concern local companies based in Piedmont region but also businesses in other Italian areas and abroad countries. The university website portal offers a specific personal section with job, thesis project and internship boards which is very useful and intuitive in order to apply for the available open positions. Furthermore the atheneum organises several free meetings and events to help students understanding their career perspectives, learning the useful tools for presenting themselves and getting in touch with potential future employers.
