Course recommendations
There was no problem with the actual courses per se, but there had been some sort of miscommunication on the part of our home contact and our host contact. The group I was a part of was under the impression that we were going to be taking part in an anthropology/archaeology program, which definitely was not the case. We ended up concentrating solely on history and sociology for most of our time there.

Maynooth appears to have an excellent program, and I've heard that their anthropology program is equally excellent. I've recently read "The Celtic Tiger: The End of Irish History," which was co-authored by two professors at Maynooth.

The business courses in Maynooth are so excellent and they teach the real time business issues which is more advantageous.
If you like a small town and dont study science then this is the place for you. It is very easy to make friends with the students here and student life runs the town. But if you like the city then you will need to go 40 minutes to dublin.
