In Finland, most people speak English well, so where ever you go, you can always speak English. On one side this is very positive, but it makes it very difficult when you want to learn Finnish. People are always very polite and will start talking in the language you know best.

Housing was perfect, just situated between Helsinki city center and school. It was really cheap for that quality and everything needed was less than 10 mn walking (supermarkets, post office...)

The language spoken is mainly english...it's essential to survive if You don't know finnish language, because it's so,so difficult language to learn!thanks to my fluent level of english, I did not have any kind of problem to comunicate

Bar fly, tiikeri are great places by night. Donn t miss Kaivo Puisto,, Helsinki park, Ice hockey games, and of course there are lots of museums, concert halls. The opera offers good prices for students and is really nice.
