Final comments
Find an accomodation in advance. Does not have to be necessarily near by the the University, but it has got to be by the Metro. Plan your budget carefully. Winter is rigid. Time for nightlife is little and the city does not offer as much as you would have expected from a Metropolitan Centre. University is good, but possibly over-ranked.

The cafes on st denis are great! There are so many places to visit but be sure to check out old Montreal in the summer time - it is brilliant!
