Because Sweden is an expensive country, and the Netherlands is relatively cheap!

1. Telephone (It is cheap to make phone calls in Hong Kong and I have to make overseas phone calls during my exchange study.) 2. Housing (I live at home.) 3. Nightlife (I seldom spend money on that at home.) 4. Travel (I seldom go travel at home.)

The food in Sweden is more expansive than in Germany. But in a restaurant at lunchtime you can eat cheaper than at home, I know that is confusing, but I don´t know the reason. The Nightlife was more expansive, because nearly every night I was on tour so more often than at home. Travelling was also more expansive than at home, because I did so much travelling to see and visit Sweden. Why going where and don´t get to know the country?

Food is a bit more expensive than switzerland, meeting new people is probably the most important stimulus for traveling and enjoying night life.

The main reason for spending more in Sweden than in England was due to the price differences. The cost of living was significantly higher than at home. Together with the fact that I took opportunity to travel around sweden whilst being thus spending more on travel expenses.

I belive I spent same amount of money when I was living in Turkey, except grocery shopping.
