Final comments

Take advantage of your location and travel, especially south. For example, I would recommend Ponza island. Restaurants deserve a closer look. Via del Governo Vecchio is a good place to start. Look out for the Trevi, Pasquino cinemas and the Hollywood shop if you like movies. There's lots of things going on in Rome, find them out.

Be prepared for a long day at the campus. Sometimes, lectures are arranged one after another and you can end up spending around 10-12 hours a day there.

Travel tip: buy a monthly bus card, as it will be cheaper and very often conductors are checking you for a ticket and if you do not have one, you get a big fine.

As Italian unis go, it is supposed to be one of the best. Great, large Erasmus crowd. Delightful café terrace. Good area of Rome (though not quite central).

Overall

the courses are very interesting and the professors encourage you to discover and learn more and more with a lot of curiosity. the campus is modern and well equipped.

Final comments

Make enjoying yourself your first priority. If you can get the study/fun balance right you'll have the time of your life while learning a lot and passing your exams too. make friends with italians in your classes who can help ypu with coursework. Don't just mix with international students.

The Luiss is a famous university, foreign students are well integreted, I don't see many possible improvement . Maybe to have more time to choose the courses
