Valoración global
Keio University encourages a studious atmosphere and students are very driven to work hard and accomplish their goals and desired career. Programs like zemis (small group consisting of students and a professor) allow students to have closer relationships and conversations with their professors. The school makes sure that students can thoroughly study their fields of interest.

Alojamiento
Tipo de alojamiento: En una familia
Organizado por: Independientemente - por elección propia
Si volviera, eligiría: En una familia
¿Por qué?
I think that staying in a host family gives you a lot of advantages, especially if you go to a country such as Japan, where there are lots of cultural differences compared to Europe. Had I not stayed in a host family, I wouldn't have learned as much Japanese as I did in the same time period.

Comentario personal
The accomodation at the Keio Business School were also great, and most of my friends stayed there. But still, I recommend others to try to find a host family, as it gives you a key to the Japanese culture.

Get a copy of the Tokyo Classifieds from places such as Tower Records. It is a free magazine for foreigners in Tokyo and people who are going back home advertise anything and everything for sale. It can sometimes be a hassle to get to the person's place to pick up whatever you buy - but it's so cheap that it's worth the effort.

Idiomas
Comentario personal
I had been on a Rotary Exchange in high school and then studyed extensively at University. AS a result I was fairly fluent-wouldn't say a "legend" as I think my grammar probably needs a little work, but I always understand and am always understood. I had wanted to brush up on that grammar during my year but spent most of my time studying for kanji tests....oh and having fun rather than studying!

For me languages is a great interest. Especially if I choose to stay in a country for a longer time, I really like to learn to speak the local language. Japanese was therefore a great challenge, since it is so different from our European languages. This fact merely made it more tempting...
