Yes! Try to collect information about Student Cards, is cheaper to travel. Enjoy your stay there, do like me, I was hungry, but now I know Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki, Gothembourg, Gotland, Uppsala...

The place where I live is 15 minutes away from the university as well as the supermarket. We are 3 exchange students in this house, and it is greater to live here because it is always quiet and you can work easily whenever you want.

It is really well organized and there is always someone that is ready to help you if you have any problem. The housing on campus is new, and whatever the place it is well eqquipped.

Karlstad is a small city , therefore you feel that you always do the same thing...but the good thinh about a small city is that it is easier to meet people and in Karlstad you will meet a lot of NICE people. If it feels good...

Karlstad is very well located, between stockholm and oslo. Stockholm is a fantastic city...save money and go there.

It has been a little bit weird considering the outbreak of Covid-19. The program which I'm studying is International business and it's a three years educational program which includes one semster of going abroad to either study or work as an intern. The program started in Januari 2020 which gave us students a little bit of time before the school closed down due to the pandemic. It hasn't really been much of "regular" school experience since almost everything have been online but overall I'm pretty satisfied about the school, the courses, teachers etc...

glada ankan is nice as far as music os concerend (fridays), coozy is chilly, arena strange but a must and most fun since all internationals are there. nice vegetarian restaurant in västra torgaten (next to team sports). best pizza in romstadspizzeria (opposite potatisen). beach party at karen is amzing! (once each semester)

The best cafe to go is called "coozy" without any doubt. The capital 'stockholm' is the city you do not have to miss in sweden. The north of sweden and the fjords are also wonderful. The two nights clubs in Karlstad are also pretty good. In summer a national celebration called 'mid-sommar' must be also lived.
