Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
My experiences in the dorm was beyond unique. To this day, I remain in contact with people from ALL over the world. Potluck dinners representing various cultural traditions, excellent community of friends, scholastic environment, and accomodations and resources that put my experiences in China to shame...I couldn't have been happier to move out of my homestay back into the dorms.

You can choose between living in a seminarhouse and living with a family. Living with a family is convenient depending on the family and how close you are to the university. Living in a seminarhouse is great too because you live with many students from different countries and you are totally free.

Housing
Type of housing: Seminar House for Students (apartament style)
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Because there were many rules which limited a milty-cultural experience and because most resident were international students. There was very little opportunity to interact with Japanese while in the Seminar house.

My host parents cannot speak english, spanish or french only japanese. At first i was really afraid of it because japanese is completly different from french or english. But they were so kind. After 4 months, i could speak japanese (normal conversation).

The dorm offers an international living environment. With the increasing number of nationalities, living in the dormitory will make it possible to acquire various cultural perspectives from students.

The housing was excellent except for the strict rules. It's hard to live like this if you lived by yourself before. But on the other hand this is the best way to meet new friends.
