swedish is completely different from my mother language... but indeed an easy one! i wish i had spent more time as eramus so that i could learn it and use it in all occasions. the fact that everybody speaks english is good and "bad". the so called erasmus community in stockholm speaks mostly in english and spanish. you would find amazing the ammount of swedish who're fluent in strange languages (portuguese, greek,...)

Since I came for 4 months only, there was no swedish course available. I was told that "You won't learn swedish in this short period of time anyway" ... well, so I didn't, which I regret very much. Fortunately everybody knew english perfectly, so there was no problem whatsoever ;-)))
