At least twice a week, I went to the café in hte school, which is ran by students; the atmosphere was great, I met a lot of people there and the beer was Belgium and cheap. What more do you want?
In the towncntre, there weren't that many good café's open in the evenig. The two best were Shamrock, an Irish pub, and the Exit, both located at the Vieux-Port. There is also a club there, Trolleybus, which is very nice.
