home banking!!! open a discount in a Finnish bank and transfer your money by using home banking to this account, so you don't have to pay if you want to get cash

If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?

Finland is a very clean country and the accommodations are very new. I don´t think you could ask for more as a student.

Kharma is the most popular club for exchange students."Gigglin Marlin" is also nice but you need twenty two to get in for both of them.
If you want to have a good cup of cofee, memphis is there. Hemingways is also a nice palce when you want to play pool while you are drinking a beer.
For jazz music, the jazz bar is a very nice place, where groups are playing everyday during the week.

Finnish students and the teaching body speak English quite well- even the library staff! Outside campus it's sometimes helpful to be able to express your desire in Finnish!
