Living abroad in diffenrent environment and having a direct contact with language is the best and unfailing way to improve language skills. Studing in Germany courses provided in English language gives an opportunity to practice both at hte same time. Really enjoyable and worthwhile. Higly recommend:)

a lot of the students parties took place in the hall of some of the university buildings, which were very large. Parties there were quite good, but the best place to be was probably the "floor party" which means on campus, people inviting people in their kitchens.

i went out at night a great deal more than at home and travelled extensively throughout my stay. other than that, the living expenses were lower than in denmark. this, of course, is totally dependent on your country of origin.

Overall, I found the housing to be quite nice. I was in an apartment with German students, and that was very helpful.

1. ulenspiegel: a combined pub/disco (mainstream music) with its own 'biergarten' in the summer. 2. harlem: disco (mainstream music) 3. audimax: lecture hall complex - parties every wednesday evening.
