Why?
it is expensive but apartments and houses with campus are well isolated. If you choosea private house,you will pay less, but your house will be worse! (rain in the house from ceilings!!)

at the beginning it was difficult cause'..irish people speak very fast and have an accent..and they have their own slang so it was difficult to understand them but right now it's ok...

Garavogue Pub, Had plenty of cultural nights in Envy Night Club, Toffs night club. Weekends Plenty of Hill walking, eg knocknarea, beautiful beaches, strandhill and Rosses Point.

Take it as it comes and visit as many places as you have the opportunity to! Have an open ear and you can have been told some real Irish fairy tales from wise elderly persons!
Don't worry about the weather, it won't change! ;-) You get used to it!
