Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
Because London is so expensive, living on-campus is the best you can hope for. Prices are between 70-90 pounds per week, and you cannot find a decent accomodation for less than twice that much! Also, living at a student hall provides you the means to meet other students.

Personal comments
Don't expect to get any value for monet. This is just an apsect of life in London you have to accept. If you can, go for accomodation in an inter-collegiate hall of residence (and not an Imperial College one) - chances to meet more people.

Overall
As an Imperial student, you have access to amazing facilities, including high-end equipment and laboratories. The courses are great and the teachers extremely available to help you with any issues. Apart from the courses, student life is also nice. There are tons of societies and everyone can find at least one that fits its taste.

Be caeful of the price of the accomodation in London. A good price for a rent is £70-90 pounds per week.
