Personal comments
Most of the students knew English so I improved my English language skills more than the French ones. The problem is that if you want to really learn another language, you have to force yourself to try to speak, no matter how bad your language is. But I am a kind of person who chooses the easier way. :)

France is a much more expensive country than Lithuania. I also traveled more than I would normally. Spain was close, so we spent a week there, I also traveled a little in Frnace. :)

Course recommendations
The system of studies at INSA-Lyon is very different from the one we have in Lithuania, so the best choice would be to get to know as much as possible about the schedule of the lectures which was changing all the time. Also exchange sstudents should communicate with teachers more, so they'll have less problems in passing the exams which are quite difficult for non-French speaking students.

Why?
When living on campus, you are always surrounded bu other students and that helps you integrate better in student society. I loved student on campus parties and friends coming and going to each other's rooms to chat, to help each other with studies, etc.

I lived in a very nice room which I was shearing with another Lithuanian girl. We had nice comfortable desks, a kitchen and a shower which was actually a little too small. I'm personally satisfied with the quality of housing at INSA-Lyon.
