There is sooooo much to do in Berlin - where to start?! I loved Prenzlauerberg - Eckstein for lavish breakfasts after nights on the town. Kreuzberg was also very cool in a different way - often randomn cultural events take place in Victoria park. Otherwise, I was barely in the same venue twice - there was so much to do!

The night life in Berlin is absolutely incredible, from the notorious berlin electro scene (I recommend Burghein) to the more relax jazz nights (quazimodo), from the theaters and classical concerts that happen daily, to the bohemian cafes of Kreuzberg. There is something for everyone...I have never seen a city like it.

The student dormitories are quite far away from the center of the city; some of them are well mantained, others are not. It depends.
