Belgium in terms of languages is pretty interesting and complicated. I speak french, but I found out that french is only useful in certain parts of Belgium, while in others only flemish will do. However, most people understand english and spanish and are happy to try to speak them.

You have to try it. Travel in europe by bus is cheaper and have great time.
