The level of life is higher in The Netherlands than in France, especially concerning housing. Moreover, I spent more money than at home because I knew I was not gonna live twice in Amsterdam.

The best nightspots are the squares Leidseplein and Rembrandplein. The best concert venue is definitely The Melkweg (Leidseplein). The best club is 11 (Electronic music), situated next to Central Station.

Dutch is a really tough language, and I consider I learnt quite a lot over those couple months. Not enough to have a normal conversation, but enough to get by. I really enjoyed my dutch classes.

Mostly because the accomodations in Amsterdam are much more expensive. But things like go out, have dinner/lunch, or go to a cafe and drink something it's very expensive too.
