Diemen is situated only 10min with train from center of Amsterdam. Nightlife usually has been spended there. Best bars that you can find are situated in Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein. My fafovrite place to go was in Rembrandtplein called "Chocos". Boom Chicago that is situated in Leidseplein is a show that you really don't want to miss!

The apartment was huge and we had everything we needed. It was pretty close to our university but rather far from the city of amsterdam. The place was also somehow scary...anyways, local authorities decided to remove those apartment houses and replace them.

Don't drink every night, if you do, buy euro shopper and get drunk before you go to the clubs. The schoolgirl was a bit more spendy than expected, but I guess she has to do what she has to do.

Be prepared for anything, have lots of initiative - the teachers won't do the work for you. Also, don't get too acquainted with all the "fun" you can have in Amsterdam.

Should be made clearer the requirements for each assignment eg. marking criteria, breakdown wht lectuer is looking for. Also, lecturer should be more invovled if there are group work problems.
