The position of the city gives the chance to travel througout Europe, but enjoy Germany as well!

“Students have to be very independent”

Overall
There isn't really a student life as we know it in England. The campus is very spread out, and a lot of the buildings are quite outdated. There are rarely campus parties. But within each faculty, there are excellent and helpful professors. Students are pretty much left to their own devices when studying, so it is flexible which can be nice, but it is also easy to feel a bit lost.
