“Good education”
Izel G
Netherlands, Undergraduate
Communication and Information Sciences, 2022
Overall
The courses are very well explained and teachers invest a lot of time helping you once things get a bit too difficult. The school is based at Zernike campus, once you get the hang of each building it is not that difficult to find your way to the required class room. Communication goes by mail and all learning materials can be found on blackboard! Groningen itself consists almost out of more international students than native people, since the education there is highly recommended globally.

The university has helped me develop further my skills. Moreover, it even helps me to find out new ones. I'm grateful to have the opportunity to work in different teams for integrated projects involving real companies. The teachers have a great understanding, are easy to talk to and are always ready to help you.

Final comments
travelling by train in Holland is a bit pricy, but you can buy a discount card, than it's gonna be 40% cheaper. Very important: apply for accomodation as early as possible, than you have more chances to get a nice room for a reasonable price. If you choose to live in international student house, apply for Moesstraat. It's definetelly the best place to live (location, social life, cost of rent).

“Review about the University of Applied Sciences Groningen”
Milou W

Marketing and Sales Management, 2021
Overall
As an International Business and Languages student, I mostly learn about marketing, sales and three languages: English, French and Spanish. I really like how the teachers always use their experiences of various businesses in every class and that we learn about subjects like cultural differences and can ask for help any time when needed.
