Well, Groningen is a very special place. Super young and vibrating city. The Hanze University is a very relaxed Uni. I like the way how we are getting educated there.

While studying at Hanze for the short time I was there, I only sometimes felt respected fairly by the faculty.

I was enrolled in a course called Business Simulation, in which I worked on a few different assignments & a final assessment in the form of an oral presentation.

After being a valuable member of the group and missing no class, I arrived late to the final presentation, (before it was my groups turn) and wasn't allowed to enter or partake in the presentation. This resulted in me being given no grade for my presentation, although that may being a tough pill to swallow, I had understanding, yet expressed my discontempt with my AA and the professor in order to possibly arrange a solution.

After being blown off repeatedly, I took the loss and returned to the resit a few weeks later, only to be treated extremely unfairly, with the lecturer clearly having some sort of bias against me. The lecturer for this resit was more qualified on paper, however this wasn't to be seen in the classroom, in fact I felt his teaching capabilities were lesser than of a teacher at my high school. I worked together with my group and submitted every single assignment successfully while inspiring myself with the template and contents of the time I'd done it before, *important to mention he was a different lecturer and had never seen the content of the previous sit*. I was also attending the presentation with 2 other members as one member had dropped out. One of our members was also struggling to speak basic English, which is very unfortunate in a stressful situation, and which is another indicator of the unrigorous selection process at Hanze. I was given only 1.1 points for the presentation as I wasn't able to present what my missing group members had written for themselves and the professor offered absolutely no leniency and instead made fun of me, my presentation, my group and was unbelievably unprofessional, almost like a toddler throwing a temper tantrum. + I was graded with a 2.1 for all of my assignments, which was lower than the grade I received in the previous sit, although I had virtually been inspired by the exact same contents, with the same exact quality.

Not only is there a massive disparity in how lecturers grade you based on their personal preferences, theres also a massive disparity in the qualifications and quality of the actual teaching done by some of the lecturers.

I've dropped out since, with this lecturer being one of the reasons why. The lecturer, whos name is Thierry Bonsing is a man you want to avoid during your courses as much as possible, try to get on his good side, because he will show no respect otherwise.

Hanzehogeschool is a school that is developing at a fast pace. This makes them lose focus sometimes. Overall tho, it is a very good school with good studies of a high quality.

La oficina de carreras
The school surely does offer career stuff. When you have to find an internship they offer a lot on the website to choose from and for advice you can always go in conversation with a specialist.
