Personal comments
There are so many disappointing things about this housing: 1) Lack of security: There was a girl that was attacked in her room by someone with a weapon. There is no means of security except for the door to your room. This is VERY disturbing because the bathrooms are in the hallway so you must exit your room in the middle of the night 2) Communal showers: must share a shower with the next room 3) communal bathrooms: 2 toilets for one HALLWAY meaning 12 people! Disgusting! 4) Residence Office: Responsiveness = Zero! except for when it comes to collecting money! 5) Cap on electrity: This is like living in the 80's. There is a cap on electricity in each room that you can not even boil water for tea nor use your hairdryer. Several complaints were made but as mentioned above, responsiveness is more than disappointing but appalling

Mixed feelings

Overall
After my first year, I will leave HEC with mixed feelings for my gap year. On the one hand, it is a great campus, with great students and a great environment. On the other hand, the poor organization and relatively poor quality of some lecturers is a bit shocking.
