Final comments
Kalmar University tries hard to make exchange students feel comfortable right from the beginning. Every student has his own mentor who e.g. picks you up from the station. Furthermore the ESN-board organized orientation days and also some parties and traveling. It was fun, and I really liked the way it was handled.

Again if you are a guest student, it is hard to find a free Swedish course offered by the school. Always priority is to exchange students.

It is very important to have enough money to live in Sweden during your studies, it is really difficult to find a student job. Learn a little bit about Swedish before coming, it will be easier for you to understand all the information (advertising, publicity, events, etc.)
