It was the thing I needed. There I felt free enough to study, rest, think or chat with my mates. The hostel was situated near a beautiful nature park.
Although it was not a luxery place, I felt myself comfortable.

the housing was very spacious and clean. It was well heated, and there was even a lady who collected our bedclothes to be cleaned. The rent included all electricity and there was a washing machine and tumble dryer on site to use free of charge. The accomodation was very well equiped with modern facilities and a large bathroom.

If possible go there in summer(for travelling),good country for taking education especially they focused on computer engineeirng and communucation technologies.

the on campus bar called iso pippu meaning big pipe!? was great, the beer they serve there is made on campus, and they are more than willing to show you the different types! there is a bar in the next town called Krouvi which has excellent karioke!! If you venture into Helsinki for the weekend try the Copacabana! a great place to dance the night away to live music and funky cocktails!!

Hämeenlinna is a rather small town so the university is not so big. It suited me but i am not sure it would be convenient for everybody.

It gave enough privacy but still close to University and all local amentities. Plus chance to meet locals as most living in same block were students. I actually shared an apartment with a Finnish girl.
