I have found worrying levels of superficiality in about 80% percent of the people I have spoken to during my studies abroad. So all the communication problems have been connected to WHAT can I talk to these guys rather than HOW.

At the begining it was really hard. No one understand you and you can fewly understand what the lectures and people mandates to you. The worst is that neither my home college nor the host one offer english classes.
