I absolutely regret taking out a study loan, waiting a year and moving abroad for a "better education and opportunities"
The experience was generally just awful. Upon arrival, they did not have the courses they advertised in my program (recommended I go back to my home country and just enroll the next year) so I had to change programs which was also bad. Thesis advisors and professors were non-existent, had class like twice a week, no graduation ceremonies, no degree certificates, no student environment, event, parties, no dorms or student housing from the uni.
