Personal spending habits
Housing was much more expensive than at home (maybe 3 times). Traveling in Euro zone was more expensive for me, because Lithuania does not have Euro, even though it is in EU.

There was no problem in communicating in English. Also there were mainly German students in my study field, therefore, i couldn't hear much dutch language.

As I know German language, it was easier for me to understand Dutch. But overall, people speak perfect English everywhere!
