Final comments
Bochum itself is not very nice, but there are a lot of other cities very closeby, like Düsseldorf, Dortmund, Essen.

THe very positive point is that I was the only French girl in my course, so I really had to talk German all the time without the tentation to speak my native language. Once you know them, German people are very friendly.
