La Madrila - a group of 10 ish night clubs, all of which were free.
Plaza Mayor - where we met each night and drank in the square.
La Iguana - excellent pub just off Plaza Mayor
Zona Pizarro - an area at the beginning of the old city where there are many cafés and bars

Bring as much money to spend as possible. Bring clothes for both cold and hot weather, but try not to dress like an American.

There wasn't any campus accomodation, but the appartment I lived in was excellent. The student body can also help you find accomodation. I found my apartment on the web.
