Some of the courses are quite "ligth" in the academic sense, they are not very challenging. But there's a lot of practical work which I haven't done previously. Some people felt there were little new to be learned, but I was satisfied.

HousingType of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
You do not have the opportunity to live on campus, the rent for an appartment is not too expensive and if you have the opportunity to share an appartment it is both social and affordable.

Castellanos were said to be arrogant which I never felt. People are proud of there language and encourage people who try speaking Spanish. I was surprised to see native's patience et desire to have foreing student learn their language and discover their city.

At the university, it is hard to improve my Spanish proficiency because international students spend a lot of time together and thus speak English. I found that my language immersion experience occurred outside of school, i.e. my apartment and local friends.
