Barcelona is one of the most expensive Spanish cities, but still quite cheap in comparison to places like US, UK, Scandinavia, Switzerland, ... Basically I spent more money because I went out much more than at home!

Why?
The dormitories are too expensive in Barcelona, they are significantly more expensive than sharing a flat, even though I would like to live in a dormitory.

You have to make an effort to get to know the locals, they are both intiminated and intriged by our presence. And make sure you put some effort into it, it is well worth it.

well,i guess it was ok. at times,when the locals speak fast, then i will have to tell them to slow down or maybe if i don´t understand what they said, will try to ask them to repeat or explain it in another way.
