Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
You have more independence in your own flat, plus there isn't really any other choice here.

It's a bit different to university life in england as they haven't got any accomodation of they're own except a couple of rooms for visitors. But there is plenty of accomodation in the town, and the prices aren't too high.

The school soirées are always a good night. They are cheap and offer the chance to meet the other students.

Course recommendations
It is more like school than university, and it's not advisable to miss any classes as the exams at the end are based almost solely on work done in class.

The main thing is to realise that the ESC really is more like a school than a university in the english sense. You spend most days in school and are expected to attend all your classes.

Make the most of the sun when it shines here! During the spring and summer months it is great to go down to the beach, sit in one of the little bars that open up there and watch the world go by (if it's not raining that is!!)

Obviously international calls are more expensive so I spent more on those in order to keep in touch with friends and family. Accomodation rates are a lot cheaper here than at home.

Living and studying in France meant that I had to improve. You can't avoid it as everyday is spent with French people, taking part in French lessons, even just everyday things like going to the supermarket help to improve language skills.
