“A global vision”

OverallAs a student at Emlyon business school Paris in 2nd year of Bachelor of Business Administration program, I have the opportunity to learn more about the current global tendencies. In fact, I am able to travel around the world during internships or exchange programs : therefore, I am currently studying in Shanghai for a semester before moving abroad to make a 5 months internship.
At school, I have the huge chance to study many different topics such as : financial accounting, cross-cultural management, global marketing, negotiation, business law, mathematics, statistics and problem solving, data analytics, IT tools, coding, Corporate Social Responsibility and so on. These different classes allows me to get a bigger knowledge, and to adapt myself through different professional situations.

The EM Lyon is a Grand Ecole which is very important in France it will help you a lot. They have very good teachers and the courses are interesting. Also Lyon is beautiful and safe city. There are a lot of exchange students and the city is used to receive foreigners so you will not have so much trouble on getting along with your daily life.

OverallEMlyon est une école qui permet à chacun de devenir acteur de sa propre vie en proposant une formation à la carte. Chacun peut ainsi construire son parcours selon ses envies, ses ambitions. Les professeurs sont des personnes reconnues dans leur métier, ders personnes très qualifiés avec un nombre assez important de professeurs étrangers. Cela permet aux early makers de se confronter à d'autres manières d'aborder certains sujets afin d'avoir une vue globale du domaine à la fin de leur étude. L'école pousse les élèves à entreprendre, à prendre des initiatives afin de nous former sur le terrain , par la pratique. C'est pourquoi les stages à l'étranger font partis de cette stratégie

there's a lot of discounts for almost everything for students in lyon.
lyonnais people are very very helpful and open-minded! you'll always find help when you need some. for travelling i'd recommend to visit montpellier - it's a really beautiful and cute student-town. take the TGV for travelling - when you're under 25 you'll get a lot of discounts.

“How my first year in emlyon changed me”

OverallI'm on my first year in emlyon business school so since september, I've had courses like comptability, business law, business statistics or even economics. Almost all the teachers are professional workers in their field of study which is really interesting. They are a real fund of information.
Besides the courses, there is a strong associative life, with more than 25 associations. Hence, each student has an association. Mine is called Cheer'Up and raises up funds to organize events for teenagers with cancer, with visits each week in the hospital.
So this experience is very professionalizing for us.

You have mandatory presence in each course, which is not the case in many other french business school. Associative life is really developped which is professionalizing

Maybe they could instore a better promotion of the carreer center and the opportunities that it gives. At school, we all know it but we don't always know how it works and the weekly opportunities that it has. (pass some specific personality test...)

“Etudes dans une grande école de commerce Française”

OverallL'axe majeur de l'école : former à l'entrepreneuriat (pédagogie Early makers). Ce qui est ce que je recherche. Tous les cours sont prodigués en anglais, ce qui est aujourd'hui indispensable. Il y a bien sur des stages et échanges universitaires à l'étranger. à effectuer. Sur le plan de l’employabilité, l'EM Lyon est 2ème Grande École de commerce française au dernier classement du Times Higher Education dans cette catégorie et sur le plan de l’excellence académique, 2ème Grande École de commerce française au dernier Classement de Shanghai.
Enfin, point très attrayant l' Emlyon propose un parcours 100% à la carte en cycle master avec une offre de cours très riche et diversifiée.
