Évaluation globaleJe suis enchantée de ma scolarité à l'emlyon jusqu'à présent. La vie sur le campus est géniale, les événements sont divers et variés. De nombreux cours sont au choix, je peux les prendre quand je veux et ainsi alterner les périodes à l'école et en stage. La possibilité de moduler son parcours à la carte est un réel plus à l'emlyon!

French people in general don't speak English very well, and as my level of French is limited it got quite complicated sometimes. The best way of learning a new language is living in the country, and at the end of my stay I felt that I was able to handle the French language pretty ok. Most of my professors at school were English or American, so I think that I also improved my level of English during the stay.

La forte exposition internationale, la vie associative très riche et la diversité des profils des étudiants sont autant d'atouts pour préparer son avenir professionnel.

the student's residence was too far away from the city center and we were dependent on the very few buses that went downtown.

in general i can say that we had a good housing atmosphere. you get easily into contact with other foreigners and you feel never alone. we had a piano room (for parties!!), a table-tennis-table and a babyfoot-table for our leisure time and the personnel was very very nice with us!

Pourquoi?
I lived with local people and it is so much better for learning the local language. Also it is better for going out in Lyon because the campus accommodation is very far away from lyon centre and a nightmare to get back to at night

My advice is to try and live with local people. Not only will your language improve enormously but it means you get a better insight into life in Lyon and the local culture
