DO NOT go to the residence offered by the school, there you will meet only foreigners, what it is great, but you rather meet local people, and then later on foreigners, why not.

OverallComparé aux années précédentes, l'em rend obligatoire de plus en plus de cours. Contrairement à ce que je pensais en entrant en école, il ne m'est pas rare de faire des journées de 8h30 à 17h. Cela au détriment de la vie associative, pour les listes notamment.

there's a lot of discounts for almost everything for students in lyon.
lyonnais people are very very helpful and open-minded! you'll always find help when you need some. for travelling i'd recommend to visit montpellier - it's a really beautiful and cute student-town. take the TGV for travelling - when you're under 25 you'll get a lot of discounts.
